a)   Work out by yourself the multiplication table for the set of operations C_2v.

b)   Explain the following statement: An object having an improper rotational axis S_n, where n  is odd, must necessary also have a C_n  axis coinciding with the S_n axis and a symmetry plane σ_h perpendicular to the S_n axis. Is this statement correct for even values of n?
