wishing to carry out research within the research group at the University of Braunschweig or Max-Planck Institute in Göttingen. The research activities of the group encompass studies in molecular biophysical chemistry in the research fields described on this web page.

A suitable candidate should have studied life sciences with a background in one or more of the following fields: biophysical chemistry, ultrafast laser physics, single-molecule spectroscopy, two-photon-excitation, nonlinear spectroscopy and optics, quantum optics, biochemistry or biotechnology. Motivated students should have a vital interest in interdisciplinary research with groups working in life sciences.

!! Please ask for the possibility of carrying out a Studienarbeit at least two weeks in advance !! From april to june the rush of students is normally the biggest. Please take this into account when thinking about the best moment for a Studienarbeit!
