As shown above laser sources have several undeniable advantages in comparison with conventional
radiation sources. Particularly, tunable lasers offer radiation sources in the spectral range
from the UV to the IR with extremely narrow bandwidths and with spectral power densities which
may exceed those of incoherent light sources by many orders of magnitude. In this chapter we
will consider several modern laser spectroscopy techniques which are widely used for
investigation molecular structure and dynamics.
