Experimental Methods
of Laser Molecular Spectroscopy

As shown above laser sources have several undeniable advantages in comparison with conventional radiation sources. Particularly, tunable lasers offer radiation sources in the spectral range from the UV to the IR with extremely narrow bandwidths and with spectral power densities which may exceed those of incoherent light sources by many orders of magnitude. In this chapter we will consider several modern laser spectroscopy techniques which are widely used for investigation molecular structure and dynamics.
